How Can I Activate Gmail(Google Apps) On My Domain?
Solution
You can have Google apps activated on your domain in 2 ways, one where we will do it for you and the second being where you will sign up and then give us the CNAME record required for verification. The steps for both the ways have been given below, you may choose the one that suits you the best
1. GOOGLE APPS ACTIVATED BY US :-
(a.) We will sign up and register you with Google apps.
(b.) Make the necessary DNS changes required to make the email function (Cname and MX entries)
(c.) We will send you the details in a separate email.
If you choose this step then you will need to provide us with the username of your choice and your current functioning Cpanel password.
2. GOOGLE APPS ACTIVATED BY YOU :-
(a.) You will have to go to
http://www.google.com/a/cpanel/domain/new
and fill up the necessary details
(b.) Once you are logged into your email address, you will find an option on the top right that says "verify domain ownership"
(c.) You need to go there and choose"Change Cname Record" as your verification method.
If you choose this step then you need to provide us with the Cname record you see in the verification step. We will make the changes and then confirm once done.
